The Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management (B.B.R.M) program is Canada's first-degree program to offer a specialization in equine management.

Combine a solid background in business, biological sciences and equine management through practical and theoretical experience in biology, physiology and horse behaviour.

 Entry into Veterinary Medicine

Choose this program to enter into the field of veterinary medicine and further develop your career in the animal health field.

 Unique Equine Learning Opportunities

Experience a hands-on approach to learning about the horse management and equine industries and businesses. Participate in international exchange, field trips, co-op, an internship course working with U of G's teaching herd, and independent research projects.

Our Equine Management co-op is a five-year program, with four co-op work terms, providing opportunities to work with a wide variety of employers. The University’s Equine Management program is the only one of its kind in Canada. I knew the program was perfect for me. My ultimate career goal is to improve horse’s welfare. There are lots of unique opportunities to work in the equine industry and I’ll be well-suited to pursue these careers after graduation.
